    Hypto Quad love

Long story short - was riding my short hypto with Pancho Honeycombs in the side and a Roberts centre - great hold and pivot. The hypto is fast... got a bigger hypto for bigger waves and put that fin config in. Didn't want to be swapping the set so bought some Jordy's for the short hypto but they were too soft and squishy for me. Had an old set of Shapers SQ7 quads which it tried and loved it. Had some AM2 Techflex and noticed they had more cant than the SQ7 sides and swapped them out. Result more pivot. Thought I'd get adventurous and go the Hayden rears - by comparison they are larger and more upright with a 'scimitar twist'... love this combo - has the quad speed and hold but also has pivot. I seem to find myself locking into the pocket on take-off more, being in control of my position and going vert where the wave has a decent wall. Good drive and turn - very happy. The Hayden rears added something positive to something already good.
